Cookie Policy
Last updated: 11 October 2026
The short version
Nothing that tracks you is set until you choose “Accept all” on the cookie banner. If you choose “Essential only”, no analytics or tracking cookies are set at all. There is no advertising on this site and nothing that follows you to other websites.
What is stored, and when
- Your cookie choice. Whether you chose “Accept all” or “Essential only” is kept in your browser's local storage, so the banner does not ask again on every page. It is not a cookie, it is never sent to us, and it holds nothing but that choice.
- Google Analytics, only if you accept. Cookies named
_gaand_ga_followed by an ID, which let Google Analytics count visits and tell a returning visitor from a new one. Google sets them to last up to two years. - Microsoft Clarity, only if you accept. Cookies named
_clck(up to a year) and_clsk(a day), which let Clarity group the pages of one visit. Clarity shows us anonymised recordings of clicks and scrolling, and masks what you type into forms.
The contact form and the comment form set no cookies. What you type into them is emailed to us when you press send; see the privacy policy.
Fonts, images and links
The site's typefaces (Inter and Cormorant Garamond) and its images are served from this site itself, so no font or image provider learns which pages you read. The share buttons and our Facebook and Instagram icons are ordinary links: nothing from those networks loads unless you click one.
Changing your mind
To be asked again, clear this site's data in your browser (its settings, under privacy or site data); the banner reappears on your next visit. Clearing it also removes any analytics cookies already set. Every browser also lets you block cookies outright, which does not stop this site from working. Google offers a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics on every site.
